It all began when high school students Ellie, Homer, Kevin, Robyn, Lee, Corrie, and Fi decided to go "bush" for a few days. Through an almost accidental discovery of the paradise that they have ironically nicknamed, Hell, the group stayed there for several days, eating, relaxing, normal 16 year old's stuff, until they decided to return. Their world as they know it has been turned upside-down, war is ragging, their homeland is being attacked by an unknown nation. Homer, which before the war, was immature, hard, crazy, has turned to this mature, cool and collective leader, finding ways to fight back, ways to survive, and how to save their families from the clutches of the foreign empire. Now, the 7 has retreated back to the the secluded haven of Hell, with Lee's leg shot open, and a relationship forming between him and Ellie, the group plans to fight back. But can they survive long enough? Will their nation prevail? Read this action packed book, finish the series, and might as well tell me what happened. (:
