Bad Moon Rising

     Long before recorded history, back when the gods ruled the world, there was a King named Lycaon. The king then married a beautiful Appollite, without knowing the curse of the family. All the descendants of the Appollites were to on their 27th birthday.

     Finding out of this curse, Lycaon started working on an experiment, gathering DNA of the strongst species he could find, wolves, jackals, tigers, hawks, leopard and even a rare dragon. With this experiment,  Lycaon freed his children of the curse, prolonging their life to hundreds of years.

     He had four children two held the hearts of the animals, and will live as an animal by day, able to change into human by night. The other two held the hearts of man, living as a human in the day, and will be able to change into an animal by night. They were called were-hunters.

     Having freed of the curse, the spiteful gods gave them another one, the children of the kingds will fight forever, with mates being chosen by the Fates themselves. Forever locked in combat between each other, all those who is a were-hunter will have to watch their backs, and their hearts. Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception
