10,000 years ago, a circle of 7 demon warlocks created a spell that would send the demon island of Hybras back in time, but at the last minute, the spell went awry. Now, 10,000 years later, the time spell is deteriorating, with no warlock to save it. All hope of the demon race, and the fairy race's security lies on 14 year old Irish mastermind, Artemis Fowl.
